Hello everyone! My name is Claire Hubbard, and I am the Vice President of CHAMP. As a hopeful health professional, I have been involved in various medical programs including HOSA and COPE Junior Health Scholars, focusing in on my desire to help other members of my community. As a friend or relative to numerous cancer survivors, I have seen the impact of this terrible disease up close and personal. I’m a strong advocate for improved preventative care that can protect families from receiving a terminal diagnosis. Through improved cancer education in our community, CHAMP aims to do exactly that, which is what immediately drew me to this nonprofit. In my opinion, health equity means ensuring that every member of our community is provided with the education, treatments, and care needed to provide individuals the freedom to live their lives to the fullest, regardless of location, age, or any other factors. In my free time I enjoy dancing, reading Thriller books, and watching mysteries. I feel so incredibly fortunate to be involved in CHAMP and I look forward to seeing the difference this nonprofit can make in our community! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
