Cancer Health Education and Awareness

Hi, my name is Julian Williams, and I serve as the Secretary of CHAMP. I am passionate about the mechanics of technology and innovation, whether through code, systems, or human interactions. I have scripted game macros that analyze pixel data in real time, built plugins for scientific image analysis software, and participated in national robotics competitions. These experiences allow me to pursue my love for creative problem-solving through technology. Beyond tech, I have taken courses in Anatomy & Physiology and Biology, where I have learned how cancer spreads, how screenings work, and why early detection is so important for cancer awareness. Health equity is deeply important to me because I believe improving the systems we live in starts with understanding the connection between our environment, our community here in Hawaiʻi, and the stories that shape both. Through CHAMP, I want to not only help others tackle problems but also empower them to explore their options and amplify unheard voices using innovative tools made possible by the digital age, including mindfulness programs that promote well-being.
